Velvet Archive Seller Programme

Seller Terms

The core standards and responsibilities that apply when offering an item through Velvet Archive.

Eligibility and ownership.

Sellers must provide accurate contact information, own the submitted item or have the legal authority to sell it, and be able to provide identification, proof of ownership or provenance when requested.

Submission and acceptance.

Accurate information

Brand, model, condition, alterations, defects and included accessories must be disclosed completely.

Authentic items only

Counterfeit, replica, stolen or unlawfully obtained items are strictly prohibited.

Individual review

Velvet Archive may accept, request more information or reject any submission at its discretion.

Commercial terms.

Proposed pricing, commission, applicable costs, shipping responsibilities and payment timing are disclosed before an item is listed. No item is listed until the seller accepts the applicable terms.

Transaction responsibilities.

  • Follow agreed packing and shipping instructions.
  • Do not sell or withdraw an item after confirming availability without notifying Velvet Archive.
  • Cooperate with authenticity, condition or ownership reviews.
  • Provide valid payment information when requested.

Payment, returns and disputes.

Payment is released only after the transaction is successfully completed and any applicable inspection, return or dispute period has been resolved. Seller liability may apply when an item is materially misdescribed, inauthentic, unavailable or sent contrary to the agreed instructions.

These programme terms are an overview. The written terms supplied to an accepted seller before listing govern the specific transaction.
